I’m so excited to share Restless Traveler.  Change is exciting but can be scary.  These songs were written as big changes were occurring in my life.  In a short time, my home moved, my friends changed, my school changed, heading out to a new exciting life.  Restless was written the night before I moved.

Check back - Adding more songs thru Sept 2026

Restless Traveler

Victoria and I met at college in Nashville just after returning from Christmas break.  It was a cold snowy January day, and I was waiting to be called on stage at an open mic night.  Victoria stopped and sat with me.  We got to talking and realized how homesick both of us felt. She told me that she is “right around the corner” the next time I need a friend.  Being songwriters, we decided to write a song together about a girl, “Julianne,” who is missing home and “settling in don’t come fast.”

I wrote Bigger Person my Senior year of high school when a group of girls, who I considered my best friends, had a formal birthday party event for two of the girls in the group, and did not invite me. The girls invited most of my Senior class, took pictures in long beautiful dresses, tagged me and posted them on Instagram. The following months of school were torture. I sat alone, skipped lunch, turned off my phone, and learned how to be the bigger person by walking away.

Romance

I wrote this song about a boy who keeps breaking my heart, yet he is still in my life.  “I can see the pictures on the floor torn into shreds, memories in the garbage, you don’t comprehend, it’s the Pre-Heartbreak, we will all end up broken.” It’s the Pre-Heartbreak that happens over and over again and it’s time to break the cycle and say goodbye.  You better run Caroline!

Pre-Heartbreak

Good Enough

This was my first album written at around age 15 and produced mostly in my garage.  Not Quite Good Enough was written from the feeling of not measuring up.  That desperate feeling of doing your best and still failing.
